HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Detroit, MI)

Lumen Wilder Learning Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on manager coaching for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on attendance records. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with attendance records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
