HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Detroit, MI)

Bluepeak Maple Manufacturing Group is a Detroit manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on machine downtime. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
