HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Cedar Cobalt Construction and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on change orders. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
