HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Detroit, MI)

Harborlight Linden Facilities Group is a facilities company in Detroit with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on contractor visits. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
