HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Detroit, MI)

Cedar Cross Civic Services Group works with county and city offices around Detroit, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on constituent requests. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
