HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Des Moines, IA)

Rivermark Quill Hospitality Group runs guest-focused properties across the Des Moines area. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on group events. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with group events. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
