HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Des Moines, IA)

Bright Junction Housing provides affordable homes and support services around Des Moines, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on waiting lists. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with waiting lists. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
