HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Des Moines, IA)

Fernwood Cedar Facilities is a facilities company in Des Moines with crews on day and night shifts, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a large organisation of about 377 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on safety inspections. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with safety inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
