HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Des Moines, IA)

Westbrook Stone Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Des Moines, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on collection routes. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
