HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Des Moines, IA)

Bluepeak Beacon Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Des Moines. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on subcontractor invoices. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
