HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Cedar Hospitality and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on food costs. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with food costs. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
