HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Chicago, IL)

Ironwood Nest Community Partners is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on manager coaching for food distribution, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 724 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on food distribution. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with food distribution. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
