HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Chicago, IL)

Greenridge Harbor Freight is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on manager coaching for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 90 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on carrier rates. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
