HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Umber Telecom and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on outage reports. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
