HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Chicago, IL)

Bright Ember Water Authority is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on manager coaching for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on water quality. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
