HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Chicago, IL)

Lumen Nest Manufacturing Group manufactures parts and assemblies at its Chicago plant, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our manager coaching. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on work orders. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
