HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Buffalo, NY)

Lumen Maple Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Buffalo. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer orders. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
