HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Birmingham, AL)

Silverline Ember Community Partners is a Birmingham charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client intake. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
