HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Baltimore, MD)

Fernwood Hollow Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Baltimore. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on hardship programmes. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
