HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Austin, TX)

Lumen Iron Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Austin. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Austin. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on underwriting files. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
