HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Wichita, KS)

Summit Umber Facilities is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for contractor visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on contractor visits. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
