HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Wichita, KS)

Summit Lantern Manufacturing is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on scrap and rework. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
