HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Virginia Beach, VA)

Rivermark Yarrow Civic Services Group provides shared administrative services to local governments around Virginia Beach, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on procurement. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with procurement. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
