HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Virginia Beach, VA)

Bluepeak Umber Foods is a Virginia Beach food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on allergen controls. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
