HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Virginia Beach, VA)

Fernwood Field Community Partners Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for food distribution, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 252 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on food distribution. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with food distribution. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
