HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Virginia Beach, VA)

Northwind Quarry Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Virginia Beach with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on recycling loads. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
