HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Toledo, OH)

Stonegate Umber Legal Group provides legal services in Toledo across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. We are a close group and share the work. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on trust accounts. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with trust accounts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
