HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Toledo, OH)

Fernwood Rook Staffing Group connects candidates and employers across the Toledo region. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on temp assignments. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with temp assignments. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Toledo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
