HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (San Jose, CA)

Rivermark Hollow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in San Jose presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 85 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on exhibitions. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with exhibitions. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
