HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (San Diego, CA)

Ironwood Mill Telecom provides broadband and phone service around San Diego, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on field visits. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
