HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (San Diego, CA)

Summit Haven Markets is a San Diego retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on supplier deliveries. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
