HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Wilder Medical designs and makes medical devices in San Antonio, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on device records. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with device records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
