HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (San Antonio, TX)

Bluepeak Vista Water Authority is a public water utility serving the San Antonio area, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing accounts. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
