HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Sacramento, CA)

We are growing our team at Summit Thistle Financial and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be leave and accommodations. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on payment disputes. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with payment disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
