HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Sacramento, CA)

Harborlight Lantern Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Sacramento, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on licensing records. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with licensing records. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
