HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Sacramento, CA)

Bright Hollow Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Sacramento. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on route schedules. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with route schedules. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
