HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Rochester, NY)

Stonegate Birch Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Rochester. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on cold storage. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
