HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Richmond, VA)

Harborlight River Staffing Group places workers with employers around Richmond. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on timekeeping. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with timekeeping. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
