HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Richmond, VA)

Cedar Forge Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Richmond, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ticketing. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with ticketing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
