HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Richmond, VA)

Northwind Wren Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Richmond, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on meter readings. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
