HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Reno, NV)

Bright Hollow Transit Planning is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on leave and accommodations for ridership counts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ridership counts. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
