HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (Reno, NV)

Nova Meridian Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Reno, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on test reports. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Reno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
