HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Fernwood Orchard Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Hartford, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on weigh tickets. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
