HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Ironwood Vale Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its San Jose plant. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on bindery work. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
