HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Lumen Cedar Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Oakland serving households and small businesses. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on account openings. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with account openings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
