HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Northwind Iron Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Charlotte plant, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on production lines. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
