HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Fernwood Timber Pharma Group is a pharmaceutical company in Knoxville producing generic and specialty treatments. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on leave and accommodations. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on batch records. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with batch records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
