HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Bright Ember Manufacturing Group is a Sacramento manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on machine downtime. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
