HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Harborlight Cross Civic Services supports public agencies in Savannah with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on budget submissions. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
