HR Business Partner - leave and accommodations (remote)

Silverline Mill Care Services is a social-care provider serving older adults and people with disabilities around Detroit, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our leave and accommodations. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on caregiver training. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with caregiver training. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
